There’s A New App To Make KOA Camping Easier

December 11, 2013

If you’re a camper who loves to plan your trips, make your reservations and finish the transaction all from your smart phone or mobile device, there’s a new “app” available just for you.

The new KOA Camping App is now available for download free for all mobile devices at both the Apple App Store and Google Play. The KOA Camping App allows you to quickly use filters to search through KOA’s 486-campground system in North America, research different locations, make reservations and complete your transactions, all from your smart phones or other mobile devices.

The KOA Camping App also integrates with popular online navigation systems to provide hassle free directions from your current location right to your favorite KOA.

You’ll receive instant notifications to keep you up to date on the latest KOA special offers, and if you’re a KOA Value Kard Rewards member, you’ll be able to store and view your program information using the app.

The KOA Camping App is your perfect travel companion, since campground information and driving directions will also work when your device is off line. You can even mark your favorite KOAs for later access and receive emergency alerts to keep abreast of road closures, approaching storms or other emergencies – all directly from KOA campgrounds where you have reservations.

The KOA Camping App is available for download TODAY at the Apple App Store and Google Play sites. For more information or to view a special video, visit

Is KOA going to make this app available for Blackbery’s in the near future?

Too bad its not available on blackberry

Hello David and Paylessal, At this time, KOA does not have immediate plans to create a
BlackBerry app in the near future. The reason being is that BlackBerry in 2013
has only accounted for .14% of our mobile and desktop website traffic. We
will be monitoring BlackBerry usage on and if we see a significant
boost in traffic we will invest the necessary resources to create a BlackBerry
app. Thank you for reaching out! Great question!
