    Another rule of thumb is to turn off all propane appliances before going into the gas station
    the refrigerator and the furnaces draw outside air into the combustion chamber .
    In a service station that could cause a very real problem if there gasoline vapors in the area.

    I’d also add that it’s a good idea to pay attention to the position of other vehicles at the station and practice common courtesy so that you’re not blocking anyone. To be completely honest, I’ll sometimes intentionally wait for the end spots to open up at bigger stations for that very reason…just to better stay out of everyone else’s thoroughfare.
